Official: Former Liverpool player Abby joins Lokomotiv Sofia on a two-year contract
6686 Sports reported on November 16 that the Bulgarian First Division team Lokomotiv Sofia officially announced the signing of free agent former Liverpool forward Jordan Abby on a two-year contract.
The official statement said: "After several difficult seasons, Jordan is ready to revive his career, and we all believe he can achieve this goal at Lokomotiv!"
The 29-year-old Abby was promoted to the Liverpool first team in July 2013, and subsequently represented Liverpool in more than 70 games in various competitions. In July 2016, he joined Bournemouth for a transfer fee of 18 million euros. Previously, Abby was unable to play for a professional team due to her failure in applying for a work permit, and committed herself to the English non-professional team Sittingbourne FC for a period of time.
